Sure i have seen posted somewhere before but not sure so apologies in advance if I'm going over old ground have finally got round to gluing into place parts 61 (have finally received issues 19-23) I have gaps see photo below, as my model is going to be RC i will need to be able to remove the aft superstructure. Should i attempt to infill the gaps or will these be covered later by a layer of decking. once again apologies if already covered in another thread i didn't want to thread-jack.

It looks like something is very wrong with the build or the hull maybe out of square. It might first be worthwhile investigating why before you jump in and fill cos as you know there should be no gaps and there may be a knock-on effect

i guess your difference in width results from many small gaps in the removable deck section ( 10 times 0,2mm makes 2 mm)
my middle section also had 2mm more width than the rest. after putting a plank between both front parts and making the removable part flush with the width above the hull's recess (with 1st planking) everything was alright

Thats excactly the problem I have with the front section (bow end) - I could not get the edges to match up, But I think I have made a big boo-boo as I have stuck the pieces to gether now - It never occured to me to put a plank down the middle to make the edges line up. DOH!! I just hope I can get the parts 'apart' from each other now. Any ideas?

Have you glued it ONTO the hull? It should be easy to seperate if not, but if you have, then I just don't know HOW you could remove it without doing some damage.

Hi Eric - No i havnt (thankfully) glued it to the bow of my boat. So I will be fevering away tonight carefully seperating it. The I will be gluing a spare plank/piece of wood in the gap. And I will also be seperating the stern parts as well. Just as I thought I was catching up!!!

That's good! Nothing that can't be fixed with patience (and a steady hand).
Fishtank2007, can you do the same as Chill?
My bow section was out of line also, not quite as much, but I solved it by sanding the deck until the gap was the same port to starboard, then gluing in a spare plank into the resulting gap and sanding down again till flush.

I discovered a problem with the bow decking, too but not until after I'd glued them. It took me two hours to pry those puppies off without damaging them or the hull. The inacuracy of these particular parts have caused alot of ppl alot of grief.

My fore deck fitted fine. As Markus says, maybe it's the planking that is a little wide, if the planks didn't butt up against each other perfectly.
It may be that the main deck is too wide rather than the fore deck being too narrow. It might be worth checking to see how the fore deck fits on the hull before you start adding a filler plank in the middle to make the deck wider.

If it looks wrong then something must be wrong Filling the gaps will cure the problem but because of this further down the line it might then lead to the start of other problems, like Mark says fully investigate why before you jump in with the filer

Well managed to seperate the stern parts last night and the bow parts. The stern parts I reset and stuck at about 10pm last night!! Just now got to get the bow parts right. How are people filling in the gap? Using a hull plank on edge and sanding it flush? Or are you using another method?

My fore and aft decks fitted just fine. However I did find that the centre deck was about 2mm too wide leaving a 1mm overhang each side so I sanded it back. I also have a small gap between the rear of the centre deck section and the front of the aft deck section it is pretty much the same width across the hull but is only about 0.5mm wide. i am going to leave it for now as having a tight fit may impeed removing the deck later plus there seems to be a covering of the deck at a later stage. Also i was thinking that i could glue the aft and centre decks together and make a single removable deck a bit like what Marcus has done.
