Hi guys, Obtain small plastic bottles from a craft shop and decant your PVA glue into them. The thin nozzles are great for applying glue to the edge of planks. Take the top off the bottle and you can use a brush dipped into the bottle. As the glue level goes down in the bottle, squeeze the side of the bottle until the glue comes to the top and you can keep the stem of the brush clean. Mike B

Hey There I use cup cake pans (paper or alley foil cup for small cakes) to put my glue in for one sitting, when I am done just just throw the lot away. The pans can be found at the local supermarket for just a few cents for 100. I find if I use a small bottle it gets covered in glue and I am forever peeling it off the thread so I can close the bl---y thing.

Speaking of glue pots when it comes to attaching the brass bits to other brass bits. I noticed that the super glue nozzles out there are quite large. And I know that if I use these the glue will flood the area and ruin it. Is there any tubes out there with pin point nozzles?

It may be best, when using CA, to use a small brush for that also. You hold the two peices together and touch the brush to the join, capilliary action draws the glue along the length of the join, negaiting the need to draw a bead of glue along the join with the nozzle, then trying hurriedly to push them together. It would need to be thin CA for that method.
Any thoughts?

Right done a quick bit of googling - got the following hits: www.modelfixings.co.uk - click on the adhesives tab and loads of various glues pop up and looking at the nozzles and viscosity including 'superthin and as well as 'extender 'tips for hard to reach places. And another site is www.deluxmaterials.co.uk. Again an aladdins cave of glues, nozzles/nozzles tips

I have been using extender nozzles found in pound land in the glue section. Fit the CA bottles to a tee.
