hello guys.
here is a tip for all the guys just starting out or even for builds to come in the future.
most laser cut sections be they frames or suppots or superstructure are discoloured were the laser has burnt them, they have a light to dark brown look to them.
although the have a nice clean looking edge to them they do in fact have a fine powder ash over them .
clean this of with a very fine sandpaper or small fine cut needle files.
this will enable the glueing together of parts to bond better.
i was lucky in this respect as the guy i bought my bismack hull from had not cleaned his off. ive spent the last 4 hours deplanking and deframing the hull. it has all come apart very easy and with no damage as the glue was brittle and had not bonded due to the laser ash deposites not being cleaned off.
