I'm just planning to start building a Bismark and am considering all of the possiblities.
Anyone thought of using a Lego NXT brick to control it? Or is this too farfetched?

A computer controlled Bismarck, could be interesting, just not sure how you would steer her as the NXT dosen't have a servo interface. Think it would be fun though. Place her in the water, set the program running and relax, but make sure to set it to return to shore before the batteries run down or you might be for a bit of a swim!!! - lol

You might be able to use the NTX to sequence the guns, etc. and just use the RC for the steering & engines.

Now thats an idea, could have each turret independant of each other, I think, (depends on how many functions you want the turrets to have). Maybe 2 NXT one for the forward turrets and 1 for the rear turrests.
