You might get a better response if you sent the letter to or contacted Hachete HO in London, call centre's are notoriously hopeless as they are only the monkey and not the organ grinder.

finally recieved a reply to my e-mail and have been told that an invoice for the balance was sent out on the 24th april (still not recieved) but i can phone and pay the balance over the phone or send them a cheque will wait till after the bank holiday to see if it arives if not will just pay the balance over the phone.

Can anyone tell me whether it is absolutely necessary to switch off the receiver switch as well as the Transmitter switch after every session.

All your boat's radio gear will remain on and active. 2. You will drain your receiver batteries ( main battery if using BEC). 3. RC radio doesn't go into "standby" when you turn off your Tx, it just hunts for any signal and just sits there twitching!
