Hi Swordfish. I guess it come down to whether you think you can make a model you're happy with. I don't think that the perfect model has ever been built, and to this day there are arguments about some of the details ont he Bismarck, such as the colour of the tops of the main turrets. One thing you can be sure of though. Plenty of people here will help you with any problems. Hi Swordfish, I agree with Mark. When I build my models, I build them to my liking. If I don't like the colour scheme, I use my own. If I don't like the look of certain parts, I'll scratch build my own. At the end of the day, I'm a perfectionist, not a purist. Some will disagree with my outlook but I build to please my eye, not other peoples.

heh Swordy, You have got to stick around......I tell you, you really won't regret it. All the help in the world is here with these crazys. There is alot of knowledge and GIVEN freely and freindly. If you read all the forum, you will learn more than you could imagine. Never worry about appearing less than capable because, everyone no matter how far they are in to the build, will give you all the help you want without hesitation. They are all bloody crazy and sometimes completely off the planet but you will make good freindships here and just think about it ....where else are you going to sit down and carry on with peolple from all over the world with one happy common goal. Its good ...it really is. Only one thing you need to be warned about and that is THEY will try tell tell you that they are all sane........NOT. Swordy stick with us and enjoy yourself and get as crazy as they all are. If you were to get seriously arguementive...WHO in their right mind would want to spend So much money on a little wooden model boat. OH...only thousands of crazys all over the world. The craziest freindlys are in this forum. BOB.........Aussie Land ( far eastern coastal point)

LoL yep and it looks like the Admiral afkmatrix is the one. Hides the PVA from the matrix, oops can't. She won't be able to build her Bismarck if I do that.
