Hi everyone, on the subject of the port holes would fibre optics do if they were the right size to fit inside the brass tubing.

yes they would i am using them for the main nav lights and you can get them at 1-2-3-4 &5mill form [ftp]www.timbercon.com/Fiber-Optic-Products[/ftp]

No chance I hope it should not but one never knows all compartments water tight and fome will be added later in bow and amid ship

expanded fome will put it in to the bow alittel at a time so it dos not pop the planking so slowly slowly cheeky monkey.

rethink 0n deck striped all old deck of thinking it would not look right on upper decks so doing it in thin planks as Swanrail's all so dun mod on front

hello john jcmanu here , my r/c came at last ,and like a lot of others , i was wondering how you made the prop shaft supports that join the hull outside the ship, also the a/frames/ thanks jcmanu

Is the Cossack built from a kit or plans? I had a model Cossack built from the Vic Smeed plans that was given to me and had sat in someones attic for years. I started to rebuild it but lost interest and sold it on.
I might in time buy the Deans Marine kit and build it as she is a very pretty ship and has a good history.
Are the running lights on her independant or are they wired into the radio equipment?

soz not bean around for a bit had other things to do and sort out. Yes the cossack is deans kit the lights run of a 4.6 v receiver pack and an action P44A universal twin switch IT ( http://www.action-electronics.co.uk) then they can be be switched on and of by the remote hand set the guns run of the sane system using the other switch by the way the red and green nav lights ar LEDs

hello john jcmanu here , my r/c came at last ,and like a lot of others , i was wondering how you made the prop shaft supports that join the hull outside the ship, also the a/frames/ thanks jcmanu the a frans are of brass tub it was trial and error but got them to look OK they are soldered to gather the struts are made longer then they should be and when all are soldered to gather field to fit as is the shaft tub the supports are built up from Isopon Metalik from hallfords the sanded to shape

hey viking, can i ask where you got that scale person from, I've been looking everywhere but cant find ones that aren't 'modern people' in 'modern clothes', that one looks pretty good
