Hi russ, yes it is to do the black line on the hull, I got the idea from swanrail, and thankyou for complementary comment on the smoothness of my hull.

Thanks Mark, I have only brush painted it so far, I have to wait until I can get in my shed to use my newly purchased air brush, as theres no way the better half will let me air brush paint in the house. I have never used a air brush before so it should be interesting when I do.

Trevor, do some practicing on something else first, an old model, sheets of paper, the kitchen walls......you know, something not important!

Well, seeing your in the mood to clean sheds, I've got 2 that are choker block full, 3 adult bikes that haven't been ridden for a few years and loads of junk that, 'I may need some time'. What say you and I get some lagers and see wha we can find. You could always get your kids to let you a room as a spray booth. A mate of mine does bodywork on cars and went to prime my Vosper over there today. He is going to spray Bismarck for me when the time comes. Good luck with your new spray gun,

Ebay springs to mind - A couple of years ago I got somebody to pay me £30 to take away on old fridge freezer. I think the council would have charged me more than that to dispose of it !!

I might have to get an airbrush sometime, it would be useful for more than just the Bismarck.

Hi everyone, just a few more pics of my build after 2 coats of grey primer. There are still a few dents etc to fill before final coat of primer. Can anyone recommend a suitable filler for very small dents. Thankyou Trevor

Trevor,
I cant see past Ronseal muli-purpose filler from the tube. I tried several but found it to be the best and sands to a very smooth finish

Hi Trevor try getting primer filler from a car accesory shop it's your normal grey primer but fills small imperfections.
