ahh i c the gap that ya mean mine is protruding but i dnt mind tht for now, ive looked at mine and i dont have such a big gap but that is probably cause i have applyed mine then sawn off again pics below a rough idea of what will look like Sorry for bad picture quality but ya can c how small a gap i will have it will be evern smaller when planks shortened the top so thin un belevable

That doesn't look too bad russ. With mine im going to be getting a set square and some heavy duty sandpaper lol. I am also thinking of doing the mod swanrail has done to his to get the anchor recess in the right spot, not sure on that one yet.

yer mine was as bad as yours but because it has been fited and sawn off the filler that was there still on so it not to bad just a small gap caused by the saw blade

Small update with 3 sucessfull rows both side of secon planking i decided to refit my resin part, to my very much delite it has gone on dead central and now all that remains is for the filler to harden between the resin piecve and the stern (was a gap there) and then little bit of a rub down and continue second planks

eeeeeks any ideas as to why it was 0.5cm lower on 1 side than the other. At least you managed to fix it up.

theory is at the time was using elastic bands they hadnt quite got hold of the plank so it slipped i didnt notice so kept on building untill the other day when i noticed

no mark i havernt started the brass work yet but soon to be same with the r/c gear that will be inserted soon and wired up ready for some sea trials
