I noticed a little while ago, that David has modified his foredeck, such that the break in the deck occurs where the breakwater will be fitted. This seemed to me to be entirely sensible, as it will make the hull easier to keep watertight, and also avoid a nasty loking crack in the deck planking. I therefore decided to do the same, but in my case it meant a bit of drastic surgery (again!) as my deck had been glued down. Below are my pictures of the modified foredeck set up. Nore that turret Anton needs to be recessed into the hull (more of that in the Anton thread when I update it), so that area looks a bit rough and crude. It also accounts for the disc where Anton will sit, which is the margin strip for the deck planking (centre about to be cut out).
