This sounds like a nice one. Lots of shiny brass, apparently 52 issues. Released on Wed 5th March.
Feel free to discuss it here. First question. The parts look like polished brass. Does aybody know if they are laquered or not.

Looks like I might have jumped the gun a bit there with my post. Not sure if there laquered or not. Just been on the website, the planets and moons are made of silver. Nearly forgot a big thankyou to Mark for setting this up, Happy Building everyone.

Just sent an email off asking if it's going to be in Australia and if the brass parts are lacquered or not. Also if anyone is interested. A bit about an Orrey on wiki. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orrery

Just a thought, they say its a limited edition piece with each base having a unique number which sounds appealing.
But what they cleverly dont say is what the limited edition quantity is.
As a normal rule partwork items travel around the world so in reality it could be one of 100,000, thats not limited edition its mass production, it might be worthwhile someone asking the question.
It looks a nice display piece but I'm into model building so wont be buying it.

I am thinking of doing it,
What I would strongly recomend to anyone planning to do it is invest in some lint free or silk or some other soft material gloves to wear whilst holding the pieces so you dont get finger prints all over them.
