I bought a pair of them last year and they're quite handy with fiddly bits. ;D

Hi Chris, surprised that you are having trouble with the slots, all mine fitted perfectly and there was no need for any mods to the instructions. Only problem I found that sometimes to superglue ran outside the bit being glued, which meant cleaning out a slot if it got glue in it (slight scraping with a scalpel cleared this), but by using a cocktail stick and being careful, this was mostly avoided.

One or two of my frets have had narrow slots. I think it's probably down to not spending quite long enough in the etching bath, or maybe it's towards the end of the batch and the etching solution is getting a little weak. Anyway, it's easy to clear out the slot using a pointed scalpel blade.

You have my sympathies Chris, I too had problems getting the middle section to stick!!! Reckon it would have ben easier if all the rails were in one length instead of 5! It would then at least be easier to align the rails up as well as gluing them down!!!
