I just managed to finish the display case in time for the launch, but I'll have to make a new acrylic case as I was a bit too generous with the CA glue Hi Poul, If you intend covering the case with aluminium angle, I have since found that if using 1mm brass rod/wire for pinning the sides, drill 0.9mm holes and the interference fit of the pins obviates the need for the CA glue.

That's a wondefull model -especially since its your first one. You must be very proud of your efforts - I know I would be!
The Richeleau really looks the part with its twin turrets and massive superstructure. Along with the Yamato it must be the most imposing design ever built. Shame it didn't have chance to show what it could do
