Thank you Viking. You really want to go building Italeri's S-100? If I had been told all the trouble I was going thru, not sure to have started it! Will yours be RCed? @skyfire. Nope man, got no email from you. Robert

Wahoo, Viking!
It's the baby Revell 1/72 scale E-Boat that you're Rcing, I see. Impressive. Gonna be a flying arrow over the waves once its props added.
Very nice work.

Turned to "slow ongoing" position mode. Slippers are on, TV set is on and beer's at hand. WEM's color pigments? Still somewhere in China I presume. Cheers... as usual, S-100, S-38 S-Boats plans are here: rpalmacci.free.fr

This one on the other hand, looks like a kind of sea mines I've had all the leisure to study these past weeks. And to end up the week nicely, a small quiz for you, gents: A decaying tooth mine to the winner, who'll be offered to receive the flavoring of his choice, if he finds which mine it can be! Robert S100 & S-38 Schnellboot plans? Here, as usual! rpalmacci.free.fr

Robert; I would opt for a Geramn Sea Bed acustic mine type; based on Dallies-Larbourdette page 111, even though I could not realy find your round/flat end type
How far I am away?

Hi Christian, Labourdette's drawings showing sea-bed acoustic mines are very basic, as of the positioning of the different mechanics apertures, you know. "German Underwater Ordnance Mines - OP1673A" issued by the US Dept. of the Navy in June 1946 is a much better source of information. Labourdette's LMA and LMB mines should show round front edges. As to what concerns his LMB mine, it is the Luftwaffe's version he has chosen to represent, the one used to be dropped by plane with a parachute the latter being protected inside a cap. That's why you can't see the flat rear edge. LMB/S mines had not parachute, therefore, no need of a protection. Robert

And with some delay, here's at last the trolley for the LMB/S mine...
