I feel your pain mate. I ordered my Yamato around a month ago and all i have recieved is issue 2!!! Apparently issue 1 is on its way but it could be the end of April till i get it!
I tell you for all their faults Hachette at least delivered the issues on time and ordering new or replacement issues has always gone very smoothly for me.

Hmmm... I fear the worst with me subscribing to both the Yamato and Victory. I have emailed three times now on different issues and still await a response. As you say, AFK at least Hatchette responded.

I have had responses to my emails so thats something but its mighty frustrating that they couldn't even get the first 2 issues sent out right!!!

AFK,
I actually called them yesterday and got one problem fixed but the other relates a problem viewing my subscription on the web but the chap told me IT issues can only be dealt with via email... Catch 22 me thinks!
Do you have an email address as I been using the 'contact us' link which I am never to sure about!

Hi Gordon,
I have used this email to contact them: customercare@deagostini.co.uk
I just got another email from them saying that my issue 2 will be dispatched in 48 hours, but I already have issue 2!!! I swear they haven't got a damn clue what they are doing, it really doesn't sound good for the future, I hope they improve things.
EDIT: Ah no I tell a lie it looks like this is dispatch 2 with issue 3 & 4 in. Would be nice to get issue 1 first though!!

Not even opened them yet or my lancaster build come to that, can see me being busy well into my old age.lol ;D ;D Alan, even if you do not intend starting now, I would strongly advise that you check the contents of each issue as you get them in order to verify that each issue contains it's correct number of parts and they are not damaged. It may be too late down the line to find missing parts and trying to re-order! Also remember, if you damage a part when you do start, it may be too late to re-order.

Hi Afk and thanks for the email, I'll give it a try.
To be honest Hatchette look like seasoned professionals compared with this lot.. I got issue one and then they started sending me the Cutty Sark. Got that sorted and now awaiting issue 4. Most of the wood parts are warped and require soaking to straighten them out. Not to sure if will continue but will let you know

Thanks for the heads up Mike. I was giving them a good once over, but now rechecked everything, it,s all present and correct up to now. It,s so tempting to start the build but with so many other models on the go God knows when i'll get chance.

Wow, looking good. The LED's are very effective, but isn't the red and green round the wrong way ? (or am I looking at it backwards ?)
