already put frames onto hull 1st iss, willthis be a problem?

No, it shouldn't be - just make sure you remove all the burrs on both keel plates and line them up carefully when you glue the next section in place.
The method I've used just makes it easier to be sure that you've got a straight hull.

errr managed to take the frames back of!!!!damaged 1 but cosmetic! em any ways tried that line thing had a job finding the middle!!!!the ends where 5.3 cm so i did 2.6 cm?

don't worry about it as long as you don't damage an edge you'll be ok ive glued them on but used a square and made sure they were on good ill probs use them as a datum for the rest

Hi, I have parts 2 & 3, my local newsagent says 3 to 4 weeks for part one. Is it worth starting to build with what parts I have, or is it best to wait until I receive part 1. Thanks Martin

hello guys!
be sure to fix the hull parts on a massive wooden plate after fitting them together. (especially later when planking is done). many people here in germany gave up because their hull looked like a "banana" after they fitted the planking (hope the word is correct)

It's worth mentioning that you should always plank the sides evenly. I.e. 1 plank on the left side, then 1 on the right. Never plank one side first or the hull will certainly go banana shaped.

ok got iss 2-3, so i've put the 3 main parts of the hull together.i've also put the 3 frames on the stern in place, now my frames were loose!!!so i used pen marks and glued them very carefully?!!getting part 5 later!

i've done iss 5 i've now got all my frames and supports attached!! also i've managed to do that frame work thingie! so managing at the mo?waiting for 6.

Im a bit behind, just going to start putting the ribs on upto issue 5,. follow the advice of putting the three keel pieces together first.

please remember to draw a "middle line" on all parts to get a smooth line of the hull... people in germay who forgot this got problems when planking the hull

Im having some probles with pieces 8 in issue 2 - the ones which atach the upright keel pieces, didnt quite fit , but did a bit of sanding in the slots. But I havent attached the other one as I just wanted to check on here if anyone else has had the same problem?
