Hi Rick, if you are building a static model, then you don't REALLY have to caulk the inside, but if I were you (I'm doing an R/C version and have resin coated the inside) I'd think about maybe putting a coat of varnish on the inside, just to make sure that humidity changes cannot warp the hull over time. It would be quick and easy to do. Just a thought.
