This Bissy will never see water Coenie.. That was a challenge to far for me. I simply built her - more or less - by the instructions.
Not thought about display to be honest. As you can see, all I have done so far is give the build stand a lick of black paint. I originally thought about a hardwood base stand but I don't have the tools to make one and haven't seen anything on the interweb.
Perhaps someone on the forum can make a suggestion or point me to a supplier of such things?

Thats a brilliant job Gordon, well done! Unfortunately we do not have much snow down here (about 0.5 inch and now mostly gone) so have no excuse to get going on my model! Out of interst do you have any brass bits leftover in your frets, I seem to have a lot with no where to go! Have a k on me.

I have lots of bits left over Swanrail. Have at least a dozen frets with parts on, some of which look like quite unique parts but I'll be damed if I can find out where they go. I am calling it a day regardless...

Hi Gordon, I suggest you guys who are finish or nearly and have so many parts left, must make a thread with photos of the left overs and let us discuss placements of these parts in the forum.

Best suggestions, or 101 uses for a brass bit would be a good thread topic name.
