I've just had another look at the turned barrels I have compared to the hachette supplied ones. The turned barrels are tapered whereas the Hachette ones are straight, so on reflection I think the turned ones are probably more accurate.
I admire your perseverance doing all that planking Bruno - I't's going to make the model look a lot better !

Looks like they are out of stock, have sent at least 5 emails asking when the next stock will come in, but they have not replied to any of them.

Looks better a little further. Unfortunately I have a shortage of deck planks. And I'll have to buy some extra bunch.

Hello, Here is my trick for the auxiliary exhausts. I will not to use the provided rings for two major reasons. First they look a little out of scale (too big). Second reason Hemm!!! I carefully stored them but I absolutly can't remember where. So I am using electric wire: Soak the exaust pipe with a thin coat of fast epoxy (supposed to dry in 90 sec); Then make à circle round it with one element of a multy strand electrical whire. Hope it will look fine

Good idea on the fine copper wire. It should look better than the oversized rings they supplied.
