Well, just got back to the UK, and finally got my grubby mits on my solar system bits. I suppose one of the good things is that I've got 31 issues to get stuck into, which will keep me quiet for a few evenings.

Welcome home Mark. I don't know if it is the weather tonite or my pc, but the pages are really slow in opening. Anyway, where are you now then?
Have fun with the solar system, my 3 ship builds are enough for now and a new job.

Cotton Traders have some nice ones on offer. They'd make you look like Clint in one of his old dusters ;D.

Well, despite getting growled at every time I look in my big box of bits, I've manage to sneak out the engrave base from issue 1 and started polishing it with black shoe polish. It's had a couple of goes so far and is looking much better, but it's going to take another 2 or 3 goes to really fill all the engravings to a proper black. I'll try to sneak a photo or two when I get a bit of peace and quiet

The arms on my planets don't seem to be perfectly parallel. It's going to take a little persuasion just to true them up. I'm also waiting on the next delivery before I can continue
