What is happening with all the Bissies Is the football or cricket on, or has there been a major internet breakdown in UK There has only been 5 posts in the last 48 hours. Maybe all the Bismarck home shipyards are on strike ;D ;D ;D

Maybe all the Bismarck home shipyards are on strike ;D ;D ;D We're all having match withdrawal symptoms Pouwl You - burnt it Mark - can't find a suitable replacement for you Chill - checked the dancing girls - no match Me - sulking - All Blacks v France - shameful match ..... Only match to crow about is the big Ozzie win over Italy But that wasn't a fair match ...... And have bin trying to motivate myself through the 4 big guns, then on to the secondary armament for a few weeks. So not much to show. UK being up around the 120 mark, would have expected a flurry of activity, but NO ! Baz

Its Rugby and cricket (If you can call 20/20 Cricket!!!) The lions are in South Africa (Hopefully winning next Sat---1St Test) The cricket is the 20/20 World Cup. Don't surpose they are showing it down under as Australia got knocked out at the 1st stage, not that we have anything to crow about as it looks like England will be going out as well soon.

Around issue 84 I got fed up with Hachettew supplying bits that could well have been fitted before, and I have decided to collect ALL the issue before proceeding, that way, each large part can have all its fixings on before painting, etc., so other than a few odd jobs (such as opening the main hangar door) my Bissie is just sitting there, Currently pushing ahead with the Waverley, which is giving me headaches trying to extract vital info from photos, else going well. Tons of work outside to do, but now in hayfever season so xannot do much out there. Should also be redecorating, but keep finding excuses not too!!! (too hot, too cold, to wet, to dry, etc, and also to tired!)

Hey Baz!
After the spanking England gave us last March, our guys were offered to mow lawns the rest of their life if not beating a famous rugby team.
Now that they know being exempted from counting four-leaf clovers on the fields, their attention is going to loosen next Sat. You can bet on it!

Well I have to admit I have modelers block on these damn turrets. Its taken me three weekends now to do 2.5 of them and I'm no closer to getting the photo etch to match up from the first one I did. Its obvious Hatchette have supplied pieces that don't fit together properly and you have to do a bit of sanding to make it right. For something so straight forward as a turret, it shouldn't be this hard.. I guess pictures are in order.. Here is one method I tried: But overall here is where I am at.. sigh.. cheers Rod

I've been busy with the microscope and micro tweezers doing the next part 112-115 on the Admiral's Bridge and a regatta of our Warship Squadron Model Boat Club. I've also been using my new PCB lacquer spray on the ship's boats to see how the finish works prior ro using it on the painted brasswork. I have several photos and will post these in my user forum and in the construction area under paintwork over the next few days. I also have a full time day job !!

Wel I started the Gazebo - it's so big you can see it from outer space! I kid you not. But its to big for one person to build , and the section i built fell over and twisted bending a bolt in the process and it was nt a thin bolt I can tell you. So time to call in a builders team to erect it.
