I was interested in what people though of the best and the worst of their build so far ?
The Best for me is seeing the ship come together.
The Worst for me is waiting for the glue to dry.
;D ;D ;D

Worse part was the planking.
Best part is of course seeing he build coming together. So all the shouting swearing, mounds of sawdust etc was worth it in the end.

The best for me is seeing the hull finally looking like a ship at last, and also to see what a fine job our fellow members are doing of their builds. The worst? -looking in those little plastic bags and at all the fiddly brass bits waitng to be stuck (firmly) in the wrong places!!!!

I'm with Don on this one!
I love looking at my finished hull, but it's unpleasant to think that the fun part is basicaly over, and now we've got a two year grind with tiny little bits of brass desperate to get themselves glued in the wrong position!!!!!

The best is seeing a ship rather than a pile of kindling, which would be the worst.

The worst part ? The bloody second planking !!
The best part ? Having a silky smooth hull after sanding the first planking. I find sanding a hull quite theraputic.

the most annoying part for me is there seems to be no natural progression in the build now we are on the brass. every week we get bits that we cannot use. sticking on a few doors and porthole covers then put them away for future use. this is a recipe for disaster either losing them or damaging them. I forsee a situation where we will be looking at hundreds of tiny parts and not knowing which is which. why can hachette not supply parts in a logical order which can be fitted as we go along

The best part is getting the kit in dribs and drabs and the wife hasn't complained about the cost once.................... ;D The second best part is that I am only told to clean up my mess in the lounge room 1 day a week ................... The worst part to date is as per the AFK syndrome. Sanding the hull to baby bottom constituancy only to find a week later that the sections at the ribs moistened by glue have finally decided to shrink...............risk of rib exposure through too much sanding (swanrail).................... The most annoying parts are inconsistency of build ........... Can't finish the hull .......****### and being months behind you guys in the UK.............. thinks..... UK thoughts......"been there, done that.............get your act together downunder, you've got all the answers at your fingertips.......just log on to buildthebismarck.etc......... " Baz
