I'm expecting my new toy any day now so would like to know which is the best connection for the monitor. It comes with the choice of the usual VGA connector or one I've not used before called DVI. Which one do ppl think is the best and what's the difference?
Thank ya, muchly.

Go DVI. Digital Video. It's a much newer Standard that the other, so I presume it's better

Well, if there is a blue plug on the monitor I'd stick it in the same shaped blue hole. If it's a different coloured plug, stick it in a different coloured hole !!

Thanks for all the "helpfull" tips, lol. Ya bleedin shower. Anyway, the decision was taken out of my hands because although the monitor came with the two options, the puter only had the DVI connection. It works like a charm, though and I'm well happy with the monitor.

I dunno, matey. I haven't had chance to really look into all the bells n whistles yet but going on the amount of ports, connections, etc on it, it wouldn't surprise me.

......It works like a charm, though and I'm well happy with the monitor. Personally I'd whant one that worked like a computer still, when it stops working you can always give it to the wife to put on her bracelet and use the monitor as a TV ;D

Jason, most (but not all) ISP's have a web interface why not use that - who is your ISP? There are plenty of "free" and/or open scorce software progs available depends what you want. PM me for more info.
