I know the feeling. I've actually managed to crack on with the second planking recently. At this rate I'll get the bow glued on before Xmas !!

.... Fine work there Markus, you must be approaching decision time on the swastikas; I recognise that this is not the same problem for us non-German builders as it is for you, but do please share your thoughts with us on this if you can. David i'd like to paint the swastikas for historical reasons, but i might get arrested for that - so my bissy has to stay swastika-free ___________________________________________________________________ some years ago a guy created anti-nazi t-shirts which showed a crossed-out swastika. another shirt showed the swastika being kicked into a waste bin guess what....this guy was punished/arrested for showing the swastika in public markus

issue 140 arrived in germany today, I've read on a german forum that is consists of 12 double-sided pages of building steps, that's 24 pages!!!!!! edit: the same guy also said there are 108 building steps! of which only five explain the railings!

aaaargh!!! kept visiting the page and getting no result, even when clicking next from page 139... turns out a simple press of F5 was enough! edit: one of the pages is wrong, the second building page si from issue 139 instead of issue 140... edit2: also noticed some errors in the build... step 37 shows a smaal set of stairs glued on with the steps facing upward instead of horizontal, and in another step a staircase is nearly blocked by one of those cabledrums...

that missing page probably shows how to mount the anchorchain, since it magically appeared on the model in step 98

Good grief - talk about packing a lot in!
I think the steps could have easily been farmed out over previous issues.

Agreed Chill!
I know we've always had a laugh about how big the last issue was gonna be, I guess that ones come back to bite us on our colective butts!

well, since alot of the bits that get mounted have been delivered in earlier issues, there should be no reason why you can't fit them earlier... I know I'll probably fit a lot of parts before the magazine says I have to...

I dont feel confident in fitting parts sooner than told too. Ok some may be fairly obvious but not others, and well i may get my flippers in a flap if I do it wrong.
