ISSUE 115
Statistic - 2411 parts
25 more trips to my supplier to get my weekly partworks. I am expecting to finish the week of christmas this year. So far up to date each week and sometimes waiting for the next weeks issue to arrive. Small parts again on the horizon. Wish I had keep note of the hours spent, probably best not to think about this, as the wife may start to question my inability to get the house painted ......

Issue 116 today and in it plastic props and anchors. I wanted to put brass props on the ship from the very beginning when I started the build but never could get the correct size when shopping for them. Painted the supplied ones a brass colour and they look great. They have now gone on. Also placed the stern anchor in place although the instructions say not too. Got the lifeboats and launches in place too. Deviating from the instructions a little.

Superb painting and a very good eye for detail. Have another K for the success of a perfect general inspection.

3 more weeks and I am done, just the cover to make. Probably glass rather than plastic / perspex as scratches will show after a while with household dusting.
