Hi Nettie, Very nice and detailed job. Looks just like a computer assisted assembly. About de hangar door, I quite agree with Baz. You worked so hard on it, that it would be now sort of a pitty to leave it without its sliding door. I know, it's more blood, sweat and tears ahead... But a reason to be TWICE as much proud with the final result! I look forward to seeing the next stages.

The other option I have here is to make part of the door in a slightly closed position with the aircraft still showing. I may experiment here.

Issue 66 - Looks way over scale so am going to try making my own pipework but in one piece - both sides as one work.

Nettie, I'm standing on attention when saying this - THE BEST HULL FINISH, I for one has ever seen. Great work!! I'm just wondering when you said something about "...we working in the ears..." and the operating light in one of your photos, that you must be used to pay this much attention to detail if you indeed work on that parts of the human body.

Today I put a small band of dark grey paint along the bottom of each deck line. Makes it stand out a little more, I have seen some others do this and I think it looks great. The decking is not glued down as yet. Pouring down with rain so I am working on my second hangar door which if it works out will be inserted behind the open door which will be mostly opened to show the aircraft inside.

Excellent work. The dark grey band is very effective. How did you do it ?

Just mask it of with low tack masking tape and spray the band. Take the tape off straight away, then you dont leave a ridge as the paint gets a nice rounded edge on it.
