what did anyone else get in iss. 50 all i got was the metal strip with bits. i'm sure i'm missing some? no bits where missing of the strip#??

My 50 was the same as 49, except the brass part was opposite handed!! The plastic bag contains on section of brass, with all the bits fitted on it. It should look like the drawings on the bottom of page 99. The picture above shows the fiddly brass bits cut out.

I think that everyone seems to be busy second planking. We also seem to be entering a rather boring phase with the brass bits - so i am going ahead with the hull, trying to finish it!!!!

finishend my hull apart from props and shafts. also fully painted it!!! now has anyone stuck thier brass bits on yet? having a hard job finding a primer for painting them?? i'm going to use superglue??

Well done Chris.
Superglue works fine with brass. Make sure you sand the parts with very fine wet n dry to help the glue key.
I use Halfords car primer, which seems to stick OK.

ok managed to attach the 2 brass strips!!!!!!! not easy when you've only got a few secs to line them up!!! looking a lot better though with the strips on and the railings!!! anyways found some primer? some stuff by kelog or something? anyways it does metal and it's white??? found it in b&q.

eric if u goto the preview section and goto the ohme site and goto rmpmf 2 section. i know it's in german but u can c the pics. just got iss.51 lots and lots of bits!!!!!
