Just going back to my build, I'm sure someone has asked the same question, but I was looking at the superstructure pieces last night. And you know the section where you place the Arado aircraft hanger up against the superstructure i have a gap along the top. Do I fil this in? I will post a piccie of what I mean.

Hi chill,
I'm not sure its the same thing but if you look on my build diary I had to saw it off as I stuck it on all crooked. So I have a gap between where it joins and swanrail said to just put some filler in there etc.

Hi ya Chill, Sorry just to clarify you mean the brass covered oval bit yeah? Well I am using Evostick Impact Glue which is awesome for this stuff. All i did for the curved bit is use the funnel rolling tool that was provided for doing the funnel railings and give the sheet the general bend needed. Then I put the Impact glue on and then using force just shaped it to the wood. I then used several clamps to hold it in place. As for the back and top i used the impact glue again and just clamped them on. Honestly if your not using the Evostick Impact glue DO lol. Its awesome stuff and glues in hard in 10mins but is very sticky and tacky after only a minute thus makeing this easier. Here is a pic of the stuff for you: www.choiceful.com/prod_image/50038_m.jpg

Superb work Chill. Seems your turrets are on hold, are you planning of motorizing them in the future?

Nice work Chill, good to see your build again - the brass parts clearly hold no terrors for you! But I see from your last 1/2000sec 'action' picture (and this happens to the best of us), just when you've got up from the table to too quickly answer the &%£$@?ing telephone you trip and the @&>*£%ing modelling table capsizes, destroying months of careful work!

LOL, now was it the table fallen over, or did Chill trip and get the shot just before he landed on the floor Seriously, it's looking really good Chill

Well, Chill if you would be interested in doing so but afraid to take the plunge, I have an extra set of turrets ready to receive servos I can send you if you want. Just let me know. Robert
