What size are the jpgs your trying to upload Smackmback? As I have photoshop and can resize my images to 800x600 and then do a save for web which makes them really small but retains their clarity. If you wish me to do this for you I would be more than happy, just give me an email mate.

The first photo is where I am changing to her original bow shape. The second photo is where you will notice that i have exchanged the thick planks for a sheet of lite Balsa ply ....Dunno..my strange choice I guess, if thats the question you're asking. and the third is the prepping for the three R/C motors and equip. Have some more shots but could only get the three uploaded in this session

Hi Smackmback, I have mailed you a pic re-sizer program. It is very simple to use and I re-size all my pics to 33% before uploading them to photobucket. It is over 3 meg so if you have any problems opening the mail, the program is freely available for download from bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm

AFKKY, yeah, its reaaly disconcerting cos i am only getting hit and miss times that I get to upload and I dont know why imageshack is cutting off halfway through upload after say 3 pics, it starts to kick up and not co-operate.I did play around with photo shop and my son does a fair bit so I will check the sizes and get back to you for input thanks. SKYFY, yeh mate thanks for the rap. If you have any questions as to what i did or where are the problem areas or just any measurements in any places, mate just say so, anything ,its all cool.

Mikey, Thank you so much,I will give any and all assistance a try cos it is so strange that this thing that is so simple is causing so much hassle. I probably a few steps somewhere some times because I have been a little spoilt in my second son Adam is a 3D animator for films so if it hits the fan in any way I usaually holla " ADAM ...whats wrong with this bloody thing and he would fix things and like a dad would usually say to his kid, he says " there there, it's all better!" BUT....He is in New Zealand working on a new film. I am very very proud of him. Anyway I will jump on that prog Mike and see what goes TA

AFkky, Hi Thanks for that again and at another angle I just realised last night one problem could be that WE all use MY camera and Troy my eldest 28 set the camera at 2000+ and says he is always changing it up and down. So this after noon we are going to invsetigate the setting s and photoshop and the new one and see what is the best and easiest and quickest for my postings. Up until Christmas he worked at photon in side MovieWorld on ANIMALIA a Graeme Base Book animated walking talking etc etc beautiful books and stories .....He made the moving character models for that and now he is in NZ with HUHU studios working on NOAHS ARK I think at the moment. He loves modelling cos he is very good at giving the animators the right character to work with. They can animate with out the whole thing falling to pieces. Its really high tech in designing. But they have him animating at the moment which he doesn't like as much but they are fighting over him cos he's too good an animator top 2. two deparments want him. we are really excited that he is going so well in the industry, only 24 and in demand.

Yeah it is nice to be in demand I too like the modelling part of it but am at the moment learning some new lighting and rendering techniques. If you have photoshop it doesn't matter what size you take the pics. Just open all ur pics in Photoshop, right click the top of the picture or go to Image --> Image size and make it 800x600 pixels. Then go to file and click on save for web and choose JPEG medium in the drop down. That should make the size of ur pics well below 100k and easily uploadable. Hope this helps.

SKYFY, yeh mate thanks for the rap. If you have any questions as to what i did or where are the problem areas or just any measurements in any places, mate just say so, anything ,its all cool. Think the main thing I need to know for the 3 motor mod is how far to measure up from the bottom of the keel to do I go before I start cutting. The pencil lines are what I've tried to work out. The thicker ones are 10mm from the bottom with the fainter ones done by eye.

Markus has drawings of where to cut - try his section here. I looked, found it - but lost it again! It's there somewhere.
