LoL I meant to say done. ;D ;D ;D ;D
BTW my Bismarck is going to be static. Far too expensive to make r/c, also too much trouble sealing the hull.

Well guys and gal Things will be a bit slow over the next few weeks. Playing nurse, mother, chief cook and bottlewasher, as well as dreaded ironing boss. Wife has a 6 week recuperation (at home) period after some surgery.......................... Tongue still operates well though.................. I spent a bit of time on the weekend playing with the anchor pockets. I tried using Green stuff, but this proved too difficult to mould into shape and fiddle with. I ended up using an epoxy putty called PC-Marine. Recommended for marine, pool and spa repairs. (Great for bumbling modelers like me too) Sets in about 20 minutes and cures in an hour. It can then be cut with a sharp knife or sanded. It was very malleable, easy to manipulate and quite sticky 5 stars from Baz................. ref www.pcepoxy.comBaz

Time on line is a bit limited these days She who must be obeyed has commandeered the bedroom (and computer which also acts as a TV and DVD) for 5 or so weeks as she speeds down the road of recovery. I'm about 2 hours work away from undercoating the hull. Just a little timber work to complete. So thought I would post the progress to date, before it gets hidden. Also, I was fed up with all the little pieces rattling round in the hull, so have chopped out a section amidships. This will be hidden by the forward superstructure. The gunnel ( toe rail) is now complete. Baz

Hope your having roast potatoes and gravy, what time should we head over then ? The build looks great Baz, all that running to and fro tending to the invalid must be keeping you in good shape as well.

Hi Bazza, Now that I'm back in circulation, if only for a few days, I thought I should quickly dash off a 'very well done' for your latest build pictures. I think that you are doing great work there and I'm especially impressed by your anchor rings, sculpturally they look very accurate. Were you working from the wreck pictures? The toe-rails also look terrific, well worth the extra effort. Also I see that your bow stem is nice and sharp; puzzles me why Amati didn't shape their resin part better. Keep up the good work. David
