I spy Warhammer bits lol.
I am painting a Tau arrmy at the moment for fleabay, but spent most of saturday sorting out my bismarck parts.
I had 30 issues still sitting in cellophane, sorted out all parts and issues, am getting ready to have a big go at it in the summer, but i have boxes full of Bismarck at the monet! lol
Nice build thread.

Just bought 114, I have 111-113 all ready to go, sort of. I'm now aware of the utmost importance to keep small spare bits safe, i've just trowled through my bits box and realised everything had either gone missing or was just loose so I now have ladders of various lengths floating around ....i've just got started on 114 so will post pictures later or tomorrow

Gosh that looks good. Its pictures like these that inspire the rest of us who are somewhat behind in other countries. Can't wait to get to this stage. Those little boats are stunning.
I have a question. Can anyone tell me if the deck on which the funnel and the two hangars sit is covered by anything or do we just paint straight onto the plywood? I've seen some people's decks that just appear as all dark grey (markus), but I can't be sure if there is anything covering it.
cheers
Rod

On mine, I have built up a ramp on the funnel side as per the other side, but this time painted dark grey. This seems to be the case in all the pictures that I have seen, plus Peter Beinheims model and the shipbuilders model. Has to be else difficult to get the planes onto the catapault!!!
