Markus, I see that you have not planked over the resin part at the bow, my resin part is 1mm proud all round, I have been thinking I should sand it flush, but do you think I could leave it and second plank as you have done? Thanks Eric. if your resin part is 1mm proud i wouldn't plank over it amati wanted me to sand it flush and plank it with a wooden part containing the bulleyes... PLANKING RESIN PARTS .....LOL you might use their wooden part and cut off the area where the resin part is located. that would make more sense than doing it 'the amati way' markus

well the way I see it, this is going to be one of 3 things. 1. for sure an aircraft carrier,another hazardous approach omg safely landed or for those who have inhaled too much glatfix.....a surfboard, nah, better just build for another 2 years robert

when the deck planking is complete what will happen wil it get painted or varnished cause ive got some bad gaps in plankin and i want to wood filler it but dont want to do it if you will see the filler

I think it gets covered with something to simulate the teak planks, but I'm not 100% sure

hmm i think ill leave it untill a later iissue then cause some of it dips and i dont want to rub it down to the lower level if i can fill it up higher

fixed mine with an offcut glued to the end and sanded down also i sanded the whole deck to fit so as they are all flush together when fitted
