PS Southendnick, your model is looking good. I've just added the last planet to mine, the long arm for which fortunately survived the postman's attemp to stuff it through the letter box ! Looking forward to the motor kit in the next issues.

Well done with the rescue cats, nice one. My sister got a simular thing going on , she's had cats, dogs and now a bloody great big shire horse. Have a karma point for being a good sport.

The final stage of the build, requires issues 48-52 however as issue 52 only has the Power Supply Pack included I dicided to put the rest of the thing together. Issue 48: Came with the Motor Unit Case. Issue 49: Was the legs, rubber feet and the screws to attach them with. Issue 50:Power speed controller, Casebase plate and the control knob. The ready to fit speed controller, On/Off Switch and mains power conector. Issue 51: Motor, Gear Box, Sound Proof Foam, rubber mat Motor The first thing to do is attach the legs to the base plate (forgot to take a photo) and place the sticky feet pads on the legs, this is followed by sitting the Motor unit case on top, this is not fixed in place it sits an a groove, then come fitting the speed controller and the other parts attached to it. The sound proof foam then sits on top... Then you should unbolt the engraved plate from the spindle and fit the rubber mat to the underside and attach the motor unit. This should then be bolted to the base unit you have just made... I say should because with the sound proofing in place it is a very very tight fit and lining up the holes is difficult, without the foam it fits no problems. A bit of playing arround should get it it fit. So on to the "finished" Solar System. With planets in more or less the correct positions. Will post a video next week when the power pack has been put in to my grubby little mits!

Top notch Nick. It looks really good (almost as good as mine ) I'm still waiting for my last 5 issues to arrive, and wondering if they will come as one or two deliveries.

Yep, got mine today as well. It was great to actually see it working. Wonderful model, I am really pleased with this partwork. I think this is one of the best, if not the best partworks I have every bought. So I think I will carry on and get the earth/moon/sun thingy.
